How to get Toxin Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

Toxin Sac is one of the many useful materials you can get from monster drops in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Just like other materials, you get Toxin Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds by hunting specific monsters that offer it as a reward. It's worth keeping in mind, however, that you're not always guaranteed to get Toxin Sac, even if you do hunt the correct monsters, as there's only a chance that they drop Toxin Sac.

To help you get the material as soon as possible, here's how to get Toxin Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds, including what monsters drop Toxin Sac, and where to find them.

How to get Toxin Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

You get Toxin Sac by killing the Large Monsters Rompopolo and Gypceros while on High Rank in Monster Hunter Wilds, with Rompopolo found in the Basin region, and Gypceros found in the Plains, Basin, Cliffs, and Wyveria regions.

We've found that the easiest way to find any monster in the game is to start an Optional Quest with Alma as part of her Quest Counter feature, then select the monster you want to hunt in order to head directly to a region it's located in.

Alternatively, you can select Rompopolo or Gypceros from the 'Filter Icons' submenu of the map to quickly search for one of them while out exploring, if they are currently in the area.

As some general advice while hunting them, Rompopolo is weak to the Water element, resistant to the Poison element, and its weak points are its Tongue, Head, Back, Foreleg, and Tail.

Then for Gypceros - it's weak to the Fire and Ice elements, has no resistances, and Gypceros' only weak point is its Head.

Remember, you're not guaranteed to get Toxin Sac by killing Rompopolo and Gypceros, as there's only a small chance that they drop Toxin Sac. And it's also worth remembering that Toxin Sac can only be obtained at High Rank, as you can only fight Gypceros in High Rank, and Rompopolo drops Poison Sac instead of Toxin Sac at Low Rank.
