Might and Mastery Special Research is the seasonal quest released shortly after the Might and Mastery Season began in Pokémon Go.

Like every past seasonal Special Research quest, the Might and Mastery quest steps and rewards are being released in stages throughout this Pokémon Go. Due to this, we don't have the full quest listed below at the time of writing. (But we will do once the quest is fully released, so keep an eye out!)

What makes Might and Mastery stand out amongst the recent seasonal quests is that it will let you add a very special Pokémon - the legendary, Kubfu!

So let's get a head start on this quest by taking a look at all of the currently released Might and Mastery quest steps and rewards in Pokémon Go.

'Might and Mastery' quest steps in Pokémon Go

The Might and Mastery Special Research quest was released on Wednesday 5th March and everyone has until 9:59am (local time) on Tuesday 3rd June to unlock this Pokémon Go quest. Just play the game and it should appear!

Might and Mastery may lack a deadline, but, as a seasonal research quest, not all of its quest steps are available upon release. Instead, they will be released in batches throughout the Might and Mastery season and, by the time we reach its end, the quest will be fully released. Due to this, you can choose to wait for the full quest to be released before completing it. We recommend, however, completing the quest steps as they're released because it will help you add a new Pokémon to your Pokédex.

With all of this in mind, let's take a look at the Might and Mastery quest steps and rewards currently available in Pokémon Go:

The Might and Mastery Season has arrived. The Festival of Colors is currently running in Pokémon Go. You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.

How does Might and Mastery work in Pokémon Go?

Might and Mastery is the seasonal Special Research quest released shortly after the season which shares its name - Might and Mastery - began in Pokémon Go. Becoming accessible to every player at 10am (local time) on Wednesday 5th March, you have until Tuesday 3rd June at 9:59am (local time) to unlock Might and Mastery. Once unlocked, it can be completed whenever you like as this quest lacks a deadline. Just make sure you play Pokémon Go before Tuesday 3rd June!

If you're having trouble unlocking Might and Mastery, try closing and reopening Pokémon Go. This should force the game to refresh and thus unlock the quest. It's also worth making sure Pokémon Go is fully up-to-date on your phone as you could be missing an update.

Due to being a seasonal quest, Might and Mastery will be released in stages throughout the season sharing its name. This means, if you're progressing through the quest as it's released, you will find yourself hitting a natural roadblock since the next step will simply not be there. Instead, you'll have to wait for the next set of challenges to be released (typically alongside in-game events). As I've already mentioned, Might and Mastery doesn't have a deadline so you are free to wait for all of the quest steps to be released before completing it.

Outside of this released-related rule, Might and Mastery works just like any other research quest in Pokémon Go; complete the challenges, collect their rewards, repeating this process with every new quest step until the quest is over.

Hope you enjoy the Might and Mastery quest in Pokémon Go!
