Monster Hunter Wilds Stalking Supper event guide and rewards

Stalking Supper is one of the first limited-time event quests in Monster Hunter Wilds.
As an event quest, you need to reach the required Hunter Rank and slay Quematrice before its end date if you want to get your hands on limited-time rewards. For Stalking Supper, this includes cooking ingredients like Kunafa Cheese.

How to start Stalking Supper in Monster Hunter Wilds
You have to go to the 'Event Quests' part of the Quest Counter menu to start the Stalking Supper event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. To access the Quest Counter, all you have to do is speak with Alma.
As long as you meet the Hunter Rank requirement of nine or higher, you can then accept and start the Stalking Supper event quest.
Stalking Supper featured monster: Quematrice
You have to hunt a Quematrice to complete the Stalking Supper event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. We've got far more advice in our dedicated Quematrice guide, but here's a few abbreviated tips for the hunt:
- Quematrice are vulnerable to Water elemental attacks, and attacking its weak points (Head, Neck, and Tail) is the most effective damage you can do.
- Quematrice are also affected by Poison and Paralysis status effects, which you can inflict with items on hand, or by using items found in the environment.
- Pitfall Traps, Shock Traps and Flash Pods are also effective on the Quematrice.
- Bring Nulberry (and use Fire Resistance and Blight Resistance equipment and items if possible) - The Quematrice's Fireblight special attack causes your health to temporarily deplete. Using a Nulberry will dispel Fireblight.
- You can also dodge repeatedly to remove the Fireblight status.
- Avoid their tail - The Quematrice's tail is its deadliest weapon, as it can stun you, and inflict the Fireblight status effect if you get caught in its fire attack. So if you see the Quematrice stop for a few seconds and wiggle its tail, or raise its tail in the air, then run away or dodge to avoid the attack!
Stalking Supper conditions

- Hunter Rank - Nine or higher.
- Players - Up to four.
- Difficulty - Four Stars.
- Time limit - 50 minutes.
- Failure conditions - Time expires, or you faint three times.
- Region - Plains.
- Weather conditions - Nighttime, in the Plenty season.
