Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo featured monster: Yian Kut-Ku
You have to hunt a Yian Kut-Ku to complete the Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. We've got far more advice in our dedicated Yian Kut-Ku guide, but here's a few abbreviated tips for the hunt:
- Use Water, Ice and Thunder-based elemental attacks - Yian Kut-Ku are weak to all three of these elements.
- Yian Kut-Ku's weak points is its Mouth, but its Head is also breakable.
- Sonic Bombs are the best item to use - Yian Kut-Ku are really sensitive to Sonic Bombs, so stocking up on these and using them in your fight is highly recommended.
- Poison, Sleep, Paralysis, Blastblight and Stun status effects are all effective - We personally liked to use Sleep, Paralysis and Stun on Yian Kut-Ku, especially if they're in a large group as it makes them more manageable.
- Yian Kut-Ku's Special Attacks are: Minor Wind Pressure and Fireblight.
- Stock up on Nulberry - Consuming a Nulberry will counteract the effects of Fireblight.
- Evade to counteract Fireblight - If you don't have any Nulberry, then evading repeatedly will counteract Fireblight too.
