Including how to repair and remove Pop-up Camps.
Pop-up Camps are a very useful feature for hunters on the go in Monster Hunter Wilds, as they give you access to a Tent, and can be used as fast travel points.
In a Pop-up Camp Tent, you can do everything you can in them while at Base Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds, like organising your items, changing your hunter and Palico's equipment, making meals - and more!
To help you get to grips with how they work, we've explained everything you need to know about Pop-up Camps below, including how to unlock Pop-up Camps, how to set up Pop-up Camps, and how to remove Pop-up Camps.

How to unlock Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds
You unlock the ability to set up Pop-Up Camps during the 'Forest Findings' main quest in Chapter 1. Specifically, you unlock them by heading to a camp in between the Quematrice and Lala Barina hunts.
Don't worry, this is very early on in the story, so you won't have long to wait until you can start setting up camps!

How to set up Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds
You need to use a Camping Kit and spend Guild Points at specific locations in each region to set up Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds. These camping locations are easily identifiable by the clump of luminescent butterflies that gather around them, as seen in the first image below.

You can use a Camping Kit by selecting it from the your general item bar.

However, do keep in mind that even if you find one of these Pop-up Camp locations, you may not be able set one up if:
- A Pop-up Camp was already there, has been destroyed, and is still being repaired.
- You have already set up the maximum number of Pop-up Camps.
- You're currently engaged in combat with a Large Monster.
If your camp is destroyed, its functionality will be inaccessible until repairs are complete. Repairs happen slowly over time, but you can spend Guild Points with the Pop-up Camp Purrofessional at another camp to repair one instantly.

If you want to know whether paying for a repair is worth it or not, you can see how long the repairs will take by looking at the list of Pop-up Camps.
How to remove a Pop-up Camp in Monster Hunter Wilds
You can remove a Pop-up Camp by talking to the Pop-up Camp Purrofessional at an already established camp. You can also remove destroyed Pop-up Camps with the Purrofessional, but you won't be able to set up camp at the same location again for a certain period of time.
