Sleep Sac is one of the many useful materials you can get from monster drops in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Just like other materials, you can only get Sleep Sac by hunting a specific monster that offers it as a reward in Monster Hunter Wilds. It's also worth keeping in mind that you're not always guaranteed to get Sleep Sac, even if you hunt the correct monster, as there's only a chance that they drop Sleep Sac.

To help you find some as soon as possible, here's how to get Sleep Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds, including what monster drops Sleep Sac, and where to find it.

How to get Sleep Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

You get Sleep Sac by killing the Large Monster Nerscylla in Monster Hunter Wilds. Nerscylla is located in the Cliffs, Basin, and Wyveria regions, and we've found that the easiest way to find Nerscylla is to start an Optional Quest with Alma as part of her Quest Counter feature, then select Nerscylla to head directly to the region it's located in.

Alternatively, you can select Nerscylla from the 'Filter Icons' submenu of the map to quickly search for one while out exploring in the Cliffs, Basin, or Wyveria regions.

Keep in mind that as it's a Large Monster, Nerscylla can be quite hard to kill, unless you come prepared.

We've got far more advice in the guide linked above, but in general, when Nerscylla is wearing Gypceros hides, it is vulnerable to Fire elemental attacks and resistant to Thunder. Then when its Gypceros hides are destroyed, this reverses, and Nerscylla is now vulnerable to Thunder elemental attacks but resistant to Fire.

Even if you can't use these elements, don't use Dragon or Water, as Nerscylla is resistant to these Elements. And it's also worth noting that Thunder is more effective once Nerscylla's Mantle is broken, and that Nerscylla's weak points are its Pincer, Stinger, Mantle, and Left Claw.

Remember, you're not guaranteed to get Sleep Sac by killing Nerscylla, as there's only a small chance it drops Sleep Sac. And it's also worth keeping in mind that Sleep Sac can only be obtained at Low Rank, as you instead get Coma Sac from killing Nerscylla in High Rank.

As always, keep in mind that you can also check which monsters give you Sleep Sac by looking through their individual entries in your Small Monster Field Journal.
