Tranq Bombs in Monster Hunter Wilds are a crucial tool to have in your inventory, as it's a key part of catching monsters that you've worn down in battle and caught in a trap.

You can throw these bombs at your target when they're stuck in a trap or you can slam it on the ground near them so the mist knocks them out. No matter what way you choose to use this item in Monster Hunter Wilds, you must use it if you want to successfully catch the monster you've been chasing.

Without further ado, here's how to make Tranq Bombs in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to make Tranq Bombs in Monster Hunter Wilds

To be able to make Tranq Bombs in Monster Hunter Wilds you need Sleep Herb and Parashroom. To be able to craft this item though, you need to complete the 'New Ecosystems' main story quest at the start of Chapter 4. Before this point you will not be able to make these items as this is where you'll first encounter them and learn how to use them.

When you've done this, head to your Tent at any campsite and select the 'Crafting List' from your 'Item Menu'.

Once you find them highlight them in the menu, and you'll learn you need Sleep Herb and Parashroom to make Tranq Bombs.

On the box that shows you what items you need, select the Tranq Bombs and use the 'Confirm' command prompted at the bottom of your screen to start crafting them. You can craft as many as you want until your supplies run out, but remember you can only carry a few at a time when you're in the field.

Also, you can turn auto-crafting on for this item by switching the slider next to the 'Tranq Bomb' listing. This means you'll automatically craft this item when you're out in the field if there's a slot free and you've got the right materials for it.
