A Trap Tool in Monster Hunter Wilds is a key item you need for creating Pitfall Traps and Shock Traps, two things you need to immbolise and eventually capture monsters.

Trap Tools in Monster Hunter Wilds are worth keeping in stock because the traps they're used to create are vital tools to have in any Hunter's inventory, especially when you're going after the bigger monsters or if you find yourself needing a backup plan when a fight isn't going your way - traps and trap tools are important!

On that note, here's how to get Trap Tool in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to get Trap Tool in Monster Hunter Wilds

To get a Trap Tool in Monster Hunter Wilds you need to buy them from the Provisioner at each region's Base Camp. For example, the Provisioner at Windward Plains is called Jack and they can be found opposite the Hunter's tent.

Also, you can almost always find the Provisoner standing on one or multiple boxes at a Base Camp, making them easy to pick out from the crowd.

Each Provisioner has plenty of this item, but we advise purchasing it to your item box rather than your pouch as this means you can buy more and ensure you've got plenty in stock for when you need them.

Here are the map locations of each Provisioner in every region:
