Rime Beetle in Monster Hunter Wilds are yet another type of Endemic Life that you'll come across on your adventure. You can collect them to create Frostburst ammunition for your Slinger.

You can either choose to ignore them and go about your day in Monster Hunter Wilds, or you can collect them to stash them in your inventory for when you need them. We recommend stocking up on warming items or colleting Heatmantle Bugs because the region you'll find them in is very cold!

On that note, here's how to get Rime Beetle in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to get Rime Beetle in Monster Hunter Wilds

In Monster Hunter Wilds you can find Rime Beetle in the Iceshard Cliffs region. These small pieces of endemic life are quite easy to spot because they're almost always rolling up balls of snow, so if you look for a snowball that's moving by itself first, you'll usually find a Rime Beetle pushing it.

You can collect a Rime Beetle by walking up to it and picking it up, grabbing it with your Slinger, or by capturing it with your Capture Net.

Our favourite spot for collecting Rime Beetle in Iceshard Cliffs is Area 8. If a larger monster like Hirabami isn't hanging around here, it's a good spot to find Rime Beetle in because it's quite open and the surface is flat which makes it easier to spot them from a distance.

Remember, if you want to look for more than one or two, you can also filter down your map to show only Rime Beetle icons to make it easier for you to track them down.
