Ember Rufflizard in Monster Hunter Wilds are yet another type of Endemic Life you can find in a very warm region, so we recommend taking some Cool Drinks with you or consuming Chillmantle Bugs when you spot them to keep your temperature down.

These speedy little lizards in Monster Hunter Wilds can currently only be found in a single region, which means you can narrow your search down but it also means you've got to be more patient when looking for them. This lizard really likes specific temperatures, which gives you an idea of where to start looking.

On that note, here's how to get Ember Rufflizard in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to get Ember Rufflizard in Monster Hunter Wilds

In Monster Hunter Wilds you can catch Ember Rufflizard in Oilwell Basin. You can catch these creatures with your Capture Net (which you'll always have in your inventory from the beginning of the story, you don't need to do anything special to get it.) They are quite quick, so we recommend acting as soon as you spot one and they usually hang out in groups of three or more.

Also, Ember Rufflizards prefer the heat, and we're talking volcanic lava hot, so we recommend sticking to the lower parts of Oilwell Basin where it's hotter and lava is more plentiful. They don't tend to be around the areas filled with Oilsilt.

On top of that, if you visit Oilwell Basin during the Firespring you're more likely to find them as they become more active at this time.

Provided that Nu Udra isn't skulking around, our favourite place to look for Ember Rufflizard is Area 9. They tend to be scurrying around the upper edge of the crater here.
