Colossal Bone in Monster Hunter Wilds is a high rank material you can gather from a couple of small monsters you'll come across on your adventures.
Just like other materials in Monster Hunter Wilds, such as Bird Wyvern Gems, this material is only available at high rank which means you will need to put in a bit of work before you can think about collecting it.

How to get Colossal Bone in Monster Hunter Wilds
In Monster Hunter Wilds you can get Colossal Bone from Conga and Blango at high rank. You will need to slay these small monsters to get this material, however as they're in the small monster category they're easy to battle and only take a few strong hits to be defeated.
You must reach and complete the first mission of Chapter 4 called 'New Ecosystems' to unlock high rank. If you try to harvest this material before you reach this point then you'll be unsuccessful as it doesn't exist until high rank begins.
Conga can be found in Scarlet Forest and Blango can be found in Iceshard Cliffs, just rememeber to use Hot Drinks or consume Heatmantle Bugs when following Blango because the last thing you need is your Hunter being worn down by the cold weather.
Remember, you can use the filter on your regional map to track down Conga and Blango. When you find them on the map, set a waypoint to them so your scoutflies will track them for you and show you the fastest route to your targets.
Both these creatures tend to hang out in groups of three or more, so while that does mean you'll need to stay on your toes when fighting them, it also means you can usually harvest multiple materials from one fighting session in a region.
