Ancient Wyvern Coin in Monster Hunter Wilds is a valuable item you can collect on your adventure and then use to trade with the ever-talkative but philosophical Wudwud Rove.

This valuable item in Monster Hunter Wilds is scarce and can often appear randomly in the environment, unless you know a few tricks about where to look or exactly what creature you need to capture to grab one.

On that note, here's how to get Ancient Wyvern Coin in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to get Ancient Wyvern Coin in Monster Hunter Wilds

In Monster Hunter Wilds you can get Ancient Wyvern Coin from Curioshell Crabs or around the environment, but the best way to repeatedly collect them is by capturing Curioushell Crabs with your Capture Net.

Curioshell Crabs are a gold coloured type of Endemic Life that can be found across all regions, however we've consistently had the best luck finding them near our pop-up camp in Area 8 of Wyveria. Also, these creatures are quite fast so the moment you spot one you need to attempt to catch it, or it will flee.

Also, we've found a spot for farming Ancient Wyvern Coin in Scarlet Forest. Head to the hidden Underground Lake in Area 8 of Scarlet Forest (set up a pop-up camp in here to make fast travelling much easier). Then change the season to the season of Plenty.

Then, with your back to the camp follow the path around to the left, dive through the water to a rock near the waterfall at the back of the cave. On this rock you should find an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Once you've collected it, fast travel to another region then back to Area 8 in Scarlet Forest. If the Coin doesn't reappear then you might need to change the seasons again or time of day for it to do so.
