This is true when it comes to changing the time of day in Monster Hunter Wilds too, because again, specific endemic life (like fish) and certain monsters will be easier to find during specific times of day. Some will also only spawn at specific times of day.

How to change season in Monster Hunter Wilds
To change season in Monster Hunter Wilds you need to choose the 'rest' option in your personal tent at either a regional base camp or a pop up campsite. This option may not appear for you until you reach High Rank.
The 'rest' option will be underneath the 'BBQ menu' section of the tent menu.

When you've selected this, you'll be brought to a screen where you've got a few options in the upper left corner of your screen.
To change the season you need to select the 'environment' box. This will pullout a smaller menu where you can choose between all of the season available in Monster Hunter Wilds. Select which one you want to change to.
You can choose between:
- No Change - Your current season stays the same.
- Plenty - The regions are lush and rich with life.
- Fallow - Food is scarce and hungry predators roam the lands.
- Inclemency - Dangerous storms occur across the regions, often bringing monsters with them.

Once you've done this, select the 'confirm' option at the bottom of the menu here to spend 300 Guild Points to change the season. We highly recommend changing the time of day too if you need to, that way you can change two aspects of the game for only one Guild Point payment.
