How to change your Hunter and Palico appearance.
Knowing how to change appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds is useful information because, sometimes, you just want to change how they look to either match their point in the journey or to better reflect the armor they're wearing. Also, you could just feel like it.
Luckily, you can also change the base look of your Felyne companion in Monster Hunter Wilds if your initial design isn't working out the way you want to. My one was intially all blue but that didn't last long. Remember, changing appearances won't have any impact on stats or efficiency - it's purely cosmetic.
On that note, here's how to change your appearance and Palico appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to change your appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds
To change your appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds you need to enter your tent and select the 'change appearance' option in the appearance menu.
You can enter this tent at any base camp, camp site and through pop-up camps. So, you can change your appearance even out on hunts if you have a camp nearby.

Once you've selected the 'change appearance' option and then the 'Hunter' option, you'll enter a screen that's very similar to the one you originally made your hunter in. However, they're slightly more limited now.

These are all of the areas of your Hunter you can change:
- Hair
- Eyebrow/Eyelash
- Eye Colour
- Mouth
- Facial Hair
- Makeup/Face Paint
- Voice Pitch
- Bearing
- Clothing
- Underclothes
If you want to completely change your Hunter's appearance and minor details, you'll need to use a Character Edit Voucher in the main menu before you enter your save file.

How to change Palico appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds
To change your Palico appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds you need to enter your tent and select the 'change apperance' option in the appearance menu.
Remember you can enter this tent at any base camp, camp site and through pop-up camps. So, you can change your appearance even out on hunts if you have a camp nearby.

Once you've selected the 'change appearance' option and then the 'Palico' option, you'll enter a screen that's very similar to the one you originally made your Felyne companion in. However, just like a Hunter, the options here are slightly more limited now.

These are all of the areas of your Palico you can change:
- Pattern
- Long Hair
- Ear Fur Type
- Facial Fur Type
- Marking 1
- Marking 2
- Felyne Language
- Voice Pitch
This is just the way to change the base look of your Palico, this isn't how you change the look of their equipment.

Also, if you want to completely change your Palico's appearance and minor details, you'll need to use a Palico Edit Voucher in the main menu before you enter your save file.
