Elden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and directed by industry icon Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls, Bloodborne). Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin also worked on the worldbuilding.

The open-world RPG, which offers a more accessible take on FromSoftware's Soulsborne games, launched in 2022 and was one of the year's best-selling games. It also scooped numerous GOTY awards.
