Fernando Gonzalez, born and raised in Manila, Philippines carries an extensive background in the direct access trading community, and has positively affected the lives of thousands of market participants. His combined talents as a top trader, distinguished technical analyst, master instructor, creative content and trading technologies developer are difficult to match. A Finance graduate of Boston College, he got his start in 1996 as an independent trader, and after making his way to the top ranks at the largest trading floor in the Western half of the US, he was selected to become the first instructor at Online Trading Academy, a school which he helped grow, as Master Instructor and Consultant, to become the largest trading school in the world.

In addition to the numerous important publications and articles he had written, Mr. Gonzalez authored the international best-selling book, "Strategies for the Online Daytrader," with friend and master trader William Rhee, published by McGraw-Hill in 1999. Through the years he has continued to develop his skills as an independent trader and expanded his extensive experience in the trading education industry through countless classes, lectures, articles and guest appearances in various media, sharing his knowledge with trading and investing students from around the globe. Mr. Gonzalez had also successfully served as technical analysis, education, computer-aided trading consultant and risk management analyst to some of the largest direct access trading and educational firms in the world.
